TIHU, Aug 2 - Mukalmua Anchalik Krira Sangha defeated Ghagrapar Anchalik Krira Santha 3-0 in the opening match of the 40th edition of the Naroram Barman Football Championship at Chamata, near here today.
The championship is organised by the Chamata Anchalik Krira Sangha at their own stadium.
Earlier, the Sangha�s year-long Golden Jubilee celebration was inaugurated by hoisting 50 club flags. An exhibition match between Sangha�s team and veteran footballers was played to mark the occasion. Chamata Anchalik Krira Sangha will take on 1st ASRF, Barama tomorrow, a release said.
