GUWAHATI, Oct 24 - Rotary Club of Guwahati installed a sanitary napkin vending machine along with incinerator at the Panbazar High School here on October 21 in the presence of the I/C headmistress and other teachers, said a press release.
Ex-president of the club GN Khound formally handed over the machine to the school authority. PK Kedia, SR Saikia, Dr BL Sharma, ANNI Laskar, BN Borooah and Dr Ruby Das were present. Sandip Nath and Subir Das of NGO Bodhana entrusted with installation of the machine and training, gave a demonstration on it.
On October 19 another such machine was installed at Handique Girls� College here.
