Nalbari�s Subhangi in Zee TV�s India�s Best Dramebaaz

GUWAHATI, Aug 12 - The people of Assam have a new reason to watch Zee TV � Subhangi Manjit, a seven-year-old from Nalbari town is contesting in the stage acting show for children, India�s Best Dramebaaz � Season 3.

Subhangi, the daughter of Manjit Mazumdar and Diya Bhatta Mazumdar, is a class III student of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Nalbari. She cleared two rounds of audition in Guwahati, and was selected for Mega Audition in Kolkata. After being selected, she then went to Mumbai for the Studio Round, and was selected for the Super-16 round. She is now taking part in the Super-12 round.

Also known as Marffi, Subhangi has been interested in acting since an early age, and has won several prizes in school competitions in dance and mono acting.

Trained under Satadal Baishya of Sammanay Khetra drama school in Nalbari, Subhangi performed in her first drama Anjali in 2016. She also acted in the play Nimakhar Somaan Bar Nai Nai in the Bhaben Baruah Children District Drama Competition which got the Best Group award in 2017. She received a judges� special award during a performance in Purani Godam, Nagaon.

During her performances in India�s Best Dramebaaz � Season 3, she has got a lot of praise from Bollywood actors Vivek Oberoi, Huma Qureshi, director Omung Kumar. Veteran actor director Kamal Haasan, who also visited the show, praised her performances.
