GUWAHATI, Oct 23 � Like in previous years, this year also, the Nakerbari Sabha Mahotsav will be celebrated at Nakerbari Gopal than premises near Kaithalkuchi with a four-day colourful programme starting from October 25 with great enthusiasm. The villagers have planned to celebrate this traditional festival in a grand manner. The mahotsav is celebrated to commemorate the death anniversary of Sri Sri Gopal Baba. This was informed in a press release.
The first day�s programmes will start with illumination to be followed by Bhagabat path, naam prasanga, dhuliya and natyavinoy.
The second day�s programme include hom yajna, naam kirtan, puspanjali, dhuliya, jatravinoy, etc. The third and fourth day�s programmes include dhuliya, nagara naam etc. It may be mentioned here a mobile theatre group Rupraj Theatre will stage dramas from October 26.
The secretary of the Nakerbari gaon organising committee Jitendra Kr Talukdar has requested all the religious-minded people of the area to participate in the sabha mahotsav to make it a grand success.
