JAGIROAD, Sept 27 - Nagaon Town Football Club emerged champions in a State Level Football Tournament defeating Dibrugarh Tamulbari Football Eleven 4-2 in the final played today at the Amsoi TE play ground near here.
Amrit Konwar, Buddhi Bordoloi (2) and Rajkumar Bordoloi were the scorers for the winning team in the 19th, 36th, 57th and 73rd minutes respectively while Sankar Urang and Sanatan Lohar scored one goal each for Tamulbari in the 64th and 76th minutes. The tournament was organised by the Amsoi TE Sports Association. AK Bora and Biswajyoti Chetia were the guests in the closing function and they gave away the prizes.
