NAGAON, May 31 - The district medical authority sent the first batch of medical staff of Nagaon BP Civil Hospital who were engaged in treatment of the COVID-19 positive patients in the hospital, under institutional quarantine at hotel Nagaon Point and hotel Bohagi on Saturday after completion of seven-day services in the hospital.
In the first batch, there were three doctors, three nurses and three grade IV employees involved in cleaning work in the hospital. Sources said that doctors as well as nurses were being quarantined at hotel Nagaon Point while three cleaning employees were quarantined at hotel Bohagi. Dr Chekhorjyoti Nath, Dr Bijan Singh and Dr Saitya Dutta were among those in the first batch of medical team who had completed seven days of service in the hospital.
