GUWAHATI, Sept 18 - The Nagaon district team has secured the best team title in the 7th South Assam Zone Inter District Karate Championship which concluded yesterday at the KASA Indoor Stadium, Diphu.
Nagaon won 105 medals including 36 gold, 26 silver and 43 bronze. Host Karbi Anglong become second best team with a total of 95 medals including 20 gold, 24 silver and 51 bronze and Morigaon stood third with total 43 medals.
Altogether 327 players from Cachar, Karbi Anglong, Nagaon and Morigaon districts participated in the championship.
