DIMAPUR, June 8 - Tribal organisations and NGOs in Nagaland resolved on Friday to bring out a white paper on the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) to educate the public. A meeting was held in this regard by the Joint Committee on Prevention of Illegal Immigration.
The meeting reaffirmed the resolutions adopted on May 18 by the tribal organisations.
One of the resolution demands that the Nagaland Government should implement all the recommendations of the Abhishek Committee on Inner Line Permit (ILP) by June 2019, meaning that Dimapur should be brought under ILP.
