DIMAPUR, Feb 22 - Nagaland Governor PB Acharya administered the oath of office to first Lokayukta of the State Justice Uma Nath Singh, former Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court, at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, in Kohima on Friday.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Opposition leader TR Zeliang, a host of Ministers, MLAs and government officers.
Justice Singh will hold office for a period of five years from the day he takes charge or till he attains the age of 70 whichever is earlier.
