Nagaland COVID-19 tally touches 415

DIMAPUR, June 28 - The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rose to 415 with the detection of 15 more cases on Sunday, Principal Secretary (Home) Abhijit Sinha said in his routine briefing.

Out of the 415 cases, 251 are active cases while 164 patients have recovered.

These new cases are from the 609 samples tested on Saturday.

Sinha said all the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 hospitals. As per the severity of symptoms, all the 251 active cases are asymptomatic, he added.

He said 11,449 samples have been tested till Sunday. Sinha also said 5,632 persons are presently under facility quarantine.
