Nagaland cases surge to 1,460

DIMAPUR, July 28 - Nagaland recorded a huge spike in COVID-19 cases today with the detection of 75 fresh cases. This is the second highest number of cases after the 90 reported in the State on July 23.

According to Nagaland Health Minister Pangnyu Phom, 75 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected out of 450 test results received.

Out of these fresh cases, Kohima reported 51 cases, Phek reported 10, Wokha reported seven, Mon and Dimapur three each, and Tuensang reported one.

The COVID-19 tally of Nagaland now stands at 1,460.
