DIMAPUR, June 17 The Nagaland BJP has reacted to the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee statement on Naga political issue and said the State Congress suffered from know-all syndrome and a mentality that none but only the Congress understood the Naga political issue.

In a statement on Tuesday, the NPCC alleged that the State BJP leaders have miserably failed to understand that the Naga political issue is greater and well above party politics.

The BJP in a release accused the Congress of defying Naga publics wishes for decades and added that at one time, the latter meddled in it so much that the solution became impossible. The BJP said Congress cannot escape the blame for its past blunders while maintaining that it is too early to cast aspersions on the NDA Governments sincere initiatives.

They also asked the Congress as to why it opposed inclusiveness to find a lasting solution and whether the Indo-Naga talks during UPA regime was transparent. The BJP said had the Congress joined DAN during UPA regime it would have had a golden opportunity to work for the people. So, whos trying to share the spoils of governance? it asked.
