DIMAPUR, April 12 � The International Bulletin of Missionary Research (IBMR), has declared �Returning to Mother Earth�, a book written by Rev Dr Wati Longchar and published by Programme for Theology and Cultures in Asia, as one of the 15 outstanding books published in 2012.
In a statement, the editors of IBMR informed that in consultation with the 50 distinguished scholars from around the world, Professor Longchar�s book, �Returning to Mother Earth� has been �declared among 15 outstanding books published in 2012 for special recognition of their contribution to the advancement of scholarship and influence to Mission studies and the World Christianity�. Dean of the Tribal Study Centre, Eastern Theological College, L Imsutoshi Jamir said in a communiqu� that Prof Wati Longchar has authored four books and edited 27 books relating to tribal culture and religion, etc.
