GUWAHATI, June 27 � Naba Kumar Phukan of Sepon, Sivasagar, climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, Tanzania in Africa on June 24.
Naba was a member of the six-member Indian team who scaled the 5895-mtr peak, the highest in Africa. He is the first Assamese to do so, stated a release issued here today.
