NAAC peer team visits RG Baruah College

GUWAHATI, May 29 - A three-member NAAC peer team visited RG Baruah College, Fatasil Ambari here, from May 24 to 26 in connection with the second cycle of assessment and accreditation of the institution.

The peer team comprised Chairperson Prof Yogesh Kumar Sharma, former VC, Singhania University and former Dean, International School of Business Management, Jaipur; member coordinator Prof Ramesh Chand, Dept of Education, Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hill, Shimla, and member Dr Pratibha S Gaikwad, Principal, Dhananjayrao Gadgil College of Commerce, Powaj Naka, Satara, Maharashtra.

The peer team made a thorough assessment of the college, verifying all the documents and records, departments and interacting with staff, students, parents, alumni, dignitaries, college development cells, library, etc.

During the three-day visit, the team took part in a luncheon meeting and a cultural programme organised by the students of the college.

The team�s visit concluded with an exit meeting, where the Principal, Dr Babita Choudhury, welcomed the team and staff of the college. Chairperson Prof Sharma made a concluding remark on their visit and handed over the sealed confidential report to the Principal of the college.
