DHEMAJI, July 17 - Sensation has been prevailing here over the mysterious death of a youth named Rohiteswar Boruah (30) of Dhemaji Bhehpara village, who was allegedly killed by two of his friends.
As reported, the youth was taken away from his home yesterday by two of his companions at about 1.30 pm and in the afternoon at about 4-30 pm, the two boys took him to the Dhemaji Civil Hospital in a critical condition. The doctor in the hospital declared him dead. Mysteriously, the friends duo immediately fled from the spot without informing anything to Rohiteswar�s family members. As reported, his mobile phone was also not found with him.
The family members of the deceased suspect that the two companions of Rohiteswar who took him away from his home allegedly killed him by making him ingest poison.
An FIR in this regard was filed at Dhemaji Police Station. The dead body has already been sent to Dhemaji Civil Hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile, Dhemaji Police is conducting investigation into the case. No one has been arrested in connection with the case till the time of filing this report.
