MV, ME schools hit by dearth of teachers

By Correspondent

KAMPUR, March 10 A number of teachers of MV and ME schools are engaged in Sarba Siksha Mission duties by ignoring their duties in their respective schools and thereby causing a great deal of inconvenience to the concerned students.

Science and mathematics teachers, when deputed to do Sarva Siksha duties, cause irreperable loss to the students as these subjects, if not taught in time, would be difficult to comprehend in future.

The MV School Teachers Association under Kothiatoli Block Office near here has strong exception to this practice of engazing teachers in other duties except teaching in schools.

It may be noted that the school syllabus nowadays is too tough to be neglected. Hence, teachers should be engazed solely on teaching and other school activities for the betterment of the future citizens, the body contended.

The will intentioned people of the society and the educationists are of the view that educated unemployed young men can be employed in such activities of Sarva Siksha which would definitely mitigate the unemployment problem to some extent and at the same time teachers of the schools would get sufficient time to concentrate on teaching the students.
