DIBRUGARH, June 5 � A delegation of prominent Muttock youths on Thursday met Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi to discuss various social and economic issues of Tinsukia district. The delegation was led by the Tinsukia Development Authority (TDA) chairman, Pronab Baruah.
Baruah told this newspaper that Chief Minister Gogoi promised to visit Tinsukia shortly to personally take stock of the status of various development projects. Gogoi is said to have said that the TDA was doing a good job with respect to development in the industrial town.
The delegation also raised the demand of reserving the Chabua and Tinsukia Assembly constituencies for the Muttock community.
