SILCHAR, April 19 - A month after the murder of Mahatabur Rahman in broad daylight at Bhanga, Karimganj Police arrested Shamim Uddin, one of the murderers from a residence at Bhagabazar area of Cachar district.
Police officers Paban Kalita and Mintu Sheel led the operation.
It may be mentioned that the assailants killed Mahatabur in a mosque at Bhanga in Karimganj district on March 20. The arrested has been taken on police remand for 7 days.
