GUWAHATI, March 9 � Murali Kumar of Indian Navy was crowned Mr Saraighat 2015 after clinching the title in the 26th DS Group RG Baruah Memorial All India Classic Bodybuilding Championship at the ITA Centre here last evening.
The championship was inaugurated by the Union Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. MP Bijoya Chakravorty and Kamakhya Prasad Tassa were also present on the occasion.
Altogether 22 top class bodybuilders from different parts of the country took part in the coveted competition and they enthralled the packed hall.
The championship was organised by the Saraighat Gym in association with Assam Bodybuilders and Fitness Association under the guidance of Indian Bodybuilders Federation. In the closing function, DS Group official Bharat Goswami, IBBF secretary Chetan Pathare, IBBF judges� body secretary Balbir Singh gave away the prizes and cash awards.
