DIBRUGARH, March 13 - The Executive Officer, Dibrugarh Municipal Board has allotted the contracts of improvement and upgradation of seven roads under 14th Finance Commission on the basis of lottery among 22 tenders. The lottery was held at the conference hall of the Municipality yesterday.
As per the list of works and names of the contractors, Sudipta Narayan Tamuly has been allotted the upgradation of Police Reserve Road connecting Jail Road by interlocking concrete block pavement under ward no. 16. Upgradation works of Anands Nagar bye-lane 1 by interlocking concrete block pavement under ward no. 2 has been given to Nayan Jyoti Sonowal. Similarly, Bhagya Jyoti Patra has also been allotted a portion of the upgradation of Ananda Nagar bye-lane 1 by interlocking concrete block pavement under ward no. 2.
The upgradation of Joymoti Path under ward no. 4 has gone to Mohan Saikia. Upgradation of Reba Agarwala path under ward no. 18 has gone to M/S GD Construction. Prakash Sharma has been allotted the upgradation works of Milan Nagar bye-lane �I� (part) under ward no. 5. M/s Aerospace Enterprise has been allotted the upgradation of Hunar Asom path by PCC and GSB including retaining wall under ward no. 18.
