BARPETA, May 4 - As part of the silver jubilee celebration of Barpetaroad Municipal Traders� Association, a plantation drive was conducted on Friday at Barpetaroad.
The secretary of Barpetaroad Press Club Alakesh Bayan and administrator of Barpeta Express, an e-media portal Jayanta Kumar Das participated in the plantation drive.
A number of saplings of valuable trees were planted in the forecourt of the Swahid Bhawan and Barpetaroad Stadium premises.
A function was also organised on this occasion where the guests were accorded a warm felicitation. A number of office-bearers and members of the traders� body also attended both the functions.
