SHILLONG, March 4 - Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma today handed his resignation to the Governor at Raj Bhavan here, but he was elected as the leader of Congress Legislature Party.
Sangma went to Raj Bhavan in the afternoon and submitted his resignation. The CLP meeting was held later and he was unanimously elected as the leader of the party.
