GUWAHATI, Sept 22 - Mrs India Home Makers 2017 is scheduled for October 5 at ITA Machkhowa.
Specially designed for housewives, the beauty pageant Mrs India Home Makers will be held in this part of the country for the first time in an effort to give a chance to the talented women of the North East.
This season�s theme is �Be loved, be in love with yourself�. In Mrs India Home Makers, every season, 40 talented women join hands to walk the stage. This season, the age group of contestants is 24-53 years.
The motto of the beauty pageant is to travel across the country and try to fulfil the dreams of as many Indian women as possible. The funds raised during this event goes to an NGO called The Woman.
The topics to be covered under the training schedule for the participants are diet and nutrition, ramp walk, basic make-up, public speaking, self-defence and women�s health.
The event shall be judged by a five-member committee, comprising people from the fashion, film and media fields.
