GUWAHATI, March 29 - The 30th Mr Saraighat RG Baruah Memorial, All India Classic Bodybuilding Championship will be held on April 6 at the ITA Centre here.
The championship is being organised by Saraighat Gym under the aegis of Assam Body Builders and Fitness Association, affiliated to Indian Body Builders Federation.
Top invited international and national level bodybuilders will participate in the championship in one group and top 10 position holders will be provided cash awards. Mr Saraighat title winner will become richer by Rs 1,50,000 while the second and third position holders will get Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 80,000 respectively.
On the other hand, the organisers will also conduct Pratidin Mr Saraighat Assam, Assam Classic Body Building Championship along with the Mr Saraighat contest where the champion will get Rs 30,000 and the second and third position winners will receive Rs 20,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively. Top five position holders will get cash awards in this contest, stated a release.
