GUWAHATI, March 8 - The 28th edition of the RG Baruah Memorial Classic Body Building Championship for the Mr Saraighat title will be held on April 2 at the ITA Centre here.
The championship is being organised by the Saraighat Gym in collaboration with Assam Body Builders and Fitness Association affiliated to Indian Body Builders Federation which is recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India and Sports Authority of India.
Top international and national level body builders will be invited to take part in the meet where top 10 position holders will be handed over cash awards. The title winner will pocket an amount of Rs 1,25,000 while the second and third position holders will become richer by Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 80,000 respectively, stated a release issued by organising secretary Bhabajyoti Goswami.
Best organiser award: Bhabajyoti Goswami, general secretary of the Assam Body Builders and Fitness Association was presented the best organiser award by the Indian Body Builders Federation during the Mr India 2017 championship held at Gurgaon, Haryana on March 4.
