GUWAHATI, April 11 - The 50th National Bodybuilding Championship for the Mr India title will be held here from May 7 to 9 under the aegis of Assam Bodybuilders and Fitness Association at the SAI Indoor Stadium here.
Along with the Mr India contest, competition will also be organised for the physically challenged bodybuilders, stated a press release.
Around 500 players and officials will gather here for the championship which will be conducted in ten different weight categories ranging from 55 kg to above 100 kg. A total amount of Rs 10 lakh is at stake as prize-money in the meet where several international bodybuilders will be seen in action.
