Move for wider recruitment of youths in CAPF

SHILLONG, Sept 1 - Special Director General of CRPF, Northeastern zone Prabhat Singh today asked senior officials to create awareness about Central Armed Police Force recruitments through local bodies like Khasi Students� Union. Singh on his visit here held meetings with Prakash D, CRPF Inspector General and other senior officials in this regard. Singh emphasised on �wide publicity of CAPF recruitment in NE Region especially in Meghalaya.� The idea behind the move is to encourage eligible male and female candidates from Khasi, Garo and Janitia communities to appear in the recruitment rally and get opportunity to be recruited in CAPFs like CRPF, SSB, ITBP and BSF.
