GUWAHATI, March 5 � Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today admitted that while psycho-active drugs can be sold only on prescription, the glue or toluene derivatives like Dendrite are being sold freely in the State and the authorities have a lot to do to prevent sale of all such items. The Minister said that he would write to the Superintendents of Police (SPs) of the districts to form task forces in their respective districts with an Additional SP and a Drug Inspector to check indiscriminate sale of such items. The Minister was replying to a Zero Hour motion moved by Mohibul Haque.
