MoU on skill training signed

GUWAHATI, Aug 6 - Assam-based Ajmal Foundation and the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training of the Government of Meghalaya have signed an MoU on skill development training.

Under this pact, signed earlier this week in Shillong, the Ajmal Foundation will provide skill training to unemployed educated youths of Meghalaya to make them employable and productive. B Hajong, Director of Employment and Craftsmen Training of Meghalaya, and Khasrul Islam, Manager of Ajmal Foundation, were the signatories to the MoU. Islam said that under this pact the Ajmal Foundation will provide skill training on different trades such as hospitality, BPO, bedside attendant, among others, at three skill training centres established for this purpose.
