GUWAHATI, Oct 22 - The Oil India Limited has signed an MoU with Gram Tarang Employability Training Services to train 300 candidates under a placement-linked skill building programme for the unemployed youths in OIL�s operational areas of Assam.
Under the project �OIL Swabalamban�, Gram Tarang is imparting residential training in trades like BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) and Fitter & Fitter CTC, while under Project �OIL Sakhyam�, skill training is being provided under trades like CCD (Caf� Coffee Day) & SMO (Sewing Machine Operator) to the differently-abled candidates along with job opportunities, a press release said.
The inauguration function was held in Women�s ITI Rehabari on Thursday, where many dignitaries, including Pranjit Deka, General Manager (Public Affairs), OIL India Limited, participated.
