MORIGAON, Nov 17 - Local outfit Bhurbandha FC defeated Assam Police Blues of Guwahati by an agreegate of 5-4 goals in tie breaker in the inaugural match of the 48th Motiram Bora Football Tournament.
At the Khirod Baruah Stadium here today, both the teams netted two goals each in the regulation time.
Mustaq Ali put Bhurbandha ahead while Abhijit Duarah drew parity. In the second session Raju Timung scored the second goal for the local outfit but Sanjib Buragohain hit the equaliser. In tie breaker Bhurbandha netted three against policemen�s two.
