MORIGAON, Oct 30 - Jagiroad Sports Association entered the final of the 47th Motiram Bora Football Tournament by defeating Damal Sports Club 5-3 via tie-breaker in the first semifinal at the Khirode Boruah Stadium here today.
Both the teams scored a goal each in regulation time. Ajangphu Bordoloi of Damal Sports Club broke the deadlock in the 24th minute while Rahul Boro equalised for the Jagiroad side in the 26th minute.
In tie-breaker, Nigerian recruit Bullet, Nirab Bordoloi, Robert Kunji and Mithu Deka of Jagiroad Sports Association found the back of the net while Damal Sports Club�s Ajangphu Bordoloi and Binode Boro were the only players to find the target.
