ITANAGAR, Jan 21 - The mortal remains of former Arunachal Pradesh Minister and Speaker Tako Dabi, who passed away on Thursday night at Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences, Naharlagun after prolonged illness, were laid to rest at his native place Nari in Lower Siang district yesterday.

The funeral was attended by his family members, relatives, well-wishers and a large number of mourners including political party leaders.

Meanwhile, mourning the death of the veteran leader, Advisor to CM, Lombo Tayeng said in a condolence message that with the passing away of Dabi, the State has lost a great leader whose immense contributions will always be remembered.

The State unit of National People�s Party (NPP) led by its president Gicho Kabak, Lok Sabha MP Ninong Ering and former Education Minister Bosiram Siram, among others also condoled the Congress leader�s death.
