DIBRUGARH, Feb 29 - The two newly-created subdivisions � Moran and Naharkatia in the district � were officially inaugurated today by Forest and Environment Minister Atuwa Munda.
The ceremonial inauguration of the Moran subdivision was held at Moran�s Toloi Gramya Bazar Hall while the inauguration function for the Naharkatia subdivision was held at Naharkatia Nagaon Hall. Former Union Minister Paban Singh Ghatowar, Parliamentary Secretary Jibontara Ghatowar, former minister Prithibi Majhi and Deputy Commissioner MS Manivannan attended the function.
Munda in his inaugural address said that with the establishment of the subdivisions the aspirations of the people were fulfilled.
