GUWAHATI, April 9 - Cash amounting to more than Rs 2.34 crore and over two lakh litres of illegal alcohol have been seized in the Kamrup Metro Election District so far.
Dr M Angamuthu, District Election Officer of Kamrup Metro, said that 20 cases have been registered regarding violation of the Model Code of Conduct in the four Legislative Assembly Constituencies (LACs) located in the city.
Notices have been served in three cases and a total of 312 public complaints have been disposed of.
