By Correspondent

MUSHALPUR, March 17 We could not perform to the expectation of the people in the five years of our second tenure in comparison to our first five years of rule in BTAD. This was stated by BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary while inaugurating an RCC bridge over Diring river at Bagulamari on the Jalah-Kumarikata Road in Baksa district on March 14 last. He further admitted that some of the party leaders did not maintain good relations with the masses. He added that if the BPF comes to power once again, the Executive Members will not be given a free hand to act on their own will.

It is noteworthy that the RCC bridge was constructed with Rs 21 crore and 21 lakh from the BTC development fund under NLCPR. MLA Maneswar Brahma, Executive Member Banamali Boro, MCLA Moon Singh Brahma, former MLA Thaneswar Basumatary and a good number of BPF leaders attended the function. Meanwhile, a good number of supporters of BPF candidature aspirant Satan Kumar Ramchiary raised a demand to issue party ticket to their leader for the No 25 Baganpara BTCLAC.
