NEW DELHI, March 3 � Prime Minister Narendra Modi today singled out BJP Lok Sabha MP Kamakhya Prasad Tassa for special praise, commending him for making good arrangements for distribution of mid-day meal in Jorhat.
The Prime Minister, who was replying to the Motion of Thanks on the President�s address in the Rajya Sabha, named three MPs for having undertaken commendable work in their parliamentary constituencies.
He had special words for Congress MP Motilal Vohra for his initiative in linking up all social welfare schemes among the people in Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, referring to the North-east, Modi advocated that the region should be promoted as a call centre hub because it has a high English speaking population. Such measures would help ease the unemployment problem in the region, he added.
