SILCHAR, Aug 30 - In a bid to extend medical facilities to the truck drivers and helpers coming to Cachar district from various parts of the country, Piramal Swasthya Management and Research Institute, a Hyderabad based non-profit organisation along with Shriram Tranport Finance launched a mobile medical unit in Silchar on Thursday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Health) Cachar Rajib Roy launched the mobile medical van along with District Media Expert of National Health Mission, Cachar Suman Choudhury, Zonal Manager of the institute Abhijit Bhattacharjee and other officials of the finance establishment and doctors.
