GUWAHATI, March 4 - In order to accelerate voluntary blood donation in Assam, the State government will introduce five new mobile blood collection vans on March 6.
�The mobile blood collection vans will be stationed at the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College Hospital, Assam Medical College Hospital, Silchar Medical College Hospital, Tezpur Medical College Hospital and Bhogeshwari Phukanani Civil Hospital, Nagaon. The vans will move to different areas of these districts and conduct awareness and voluntary blood donation camps frequently so that the safest blood can be available 24x7 across the State,� a statement said.
