AIZAWL, Aug 22 - Mizoram Chief Minister Lalthanhawla defending his brother Lalthanzara�s resignation as Minister and MLA and telling the media that his brother chose to resign to prove his innocence is baseless, Mizo National Youth Front president K Vanlalvena said today in a press statement. It is just to conceal the misdeed of his brother and to divert the attention of the people, he alleged.
It was the best option for him and there was no other way out for him and his brother. It was because of his misdeed that Lalthanzara resigned from his positions of MLA and Minister, the youth leader from main opposition Mizo National Front said. His resignation testifies that he himself admits his guilt, he added.
This time again, Lalthanzara having a big share in Sunshine Overseas Company and it getting contracts worth huge amounts soon after the Congress party came to power, clearly expose their misuse of power, MNYF president said.
The MNYF President said that MNYF is in possession of documents as proof of Lal Thanzara holding �office of profit� with Sunshine Overseas Private Limited and the same has been exposed and there is nothing much to investigate now.
