AIZAWL, June 22 - Mizoram unit of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) on Wednesday staged a demonstration here demanding a separate �Gorkhaland� State carved out of West Bengal.

Members of the State committee of GJM in the sit-in demonstration displayed placards in support of �Gorkhaland� comprising Darjeeling hill region, Siliguri, Terai, Dooars and surrounding areas. GJM leaders said that Gorkhas living in India became Indian citizens in accordance with the Treaty of Sugauli, 1874. � PTI
