AIZAWL, Dec 18 - With nine fresh cases, Mizoram�s COVID-19 tally today rose to 4,094. These cases were detected after examination of 936 samples at the RT-PCR laboratory of the Zoram Medical College here, TrueNat laboratories of district hospitals, as well as through rapid antigen tests.
Three of the new cases were reported from Lawngtlai district, two each from Aizawl and Lunglei districts and one each from Kolasib and Serchhip districts.
The nine new patients include a nine-month-old baby and three BSF personnel. Five patients have travel history.
Mizoram�s active cases today stood at 164, while 3,923 people have already recovered from the disease so far. The State has reported seven COVID-19 fatalities till date.
