NEW DELHI, Sept (PTI) � Offee Lalmingahualpuia got her name on the score-sheet for the fourth match on the trot to help Government Mizo High School, Mizoram reach the Under-17 girls semifinals of the 53rd Subroto Cup football tournament here today.
Lalmingahualpuia found the net in the ninth minute after Elizabeth had already secured the lead for the Mizo school and the twin strikes within three minutes were enough for them to floor Tyrsad Higher Secondary School, Meghalaya in the first quarterfinals at the Ambedkar stadium.
In the semifinals, the Mizoram side will now take on Ramkrishna Sartha Higher Secondary School, Salem, Tamil Nadu, who defeated Our Lady of Rosary High School, Goa 5-2 in the other quarterfinal.
M Lavanya scored a hat-trick for the Salem school and then G Priyanka chipped in with two to help complete the tally.
Government Higher Secondary School, Nagaland will take on NCC while Oriental English School, Manipur will face Government High School, Alkapuri, Haryana tomorrow to decide the other two semifinalists.
