AIZAWL, Sept 10 - With 141 new cases of COVID-19 detected during the last 24 hours, Mizoram recorded the highest spike as well as the highest positivity rate on a single day.
With 96 cases being locally transmitted, Mizoram also witnessed a record surge in local transmission of the novel coronavirus.
An official release stated today that 138 of the 141 new cases were detected from among 178 samples tested at the Zoram Medical College laboratory. The positivity rate shot up to 77.52 per cent.
