AIZAWL, Nov 9 - Six new cases of COVID-19 on Monday took Mizoram�s virus count to 3,096.
The new cases appeared to be less as no test was conducted at Zoram Medical College�s RT-PCR, the main testing laboratory in the state. The six cases were detected from 118 samples tested with RAgT, while all the 52 samples tested at Truenat labs in district hospitals were negative.
The six patients included two BSF personnel. Three cases were reported in Aizawl district, two in Kolasib and one in Mamit. Three of the patients have travel history, while the other three were locally infected. Mizoram now has 476 active coronavirus cases, while 2,618 people have recovered from the disease and two patients have succumbed to the infection so far, the official said.
