AIZAWL, July 25 - Mizoram today reported 29 fresh cases of COVID-19, pushing the State�s tally to 361.
Of 238 samples examined for COVID-19 at the Zoram Medical College laboratory on Friday, 28 BSF personnel tested positive, an official statement said.
Meanwhile, one Army personnel, who was under quarantine at the Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School at Vairengte in Kolasib district, tested positive in a rapid antigen test. He has been admitted to a military hospital at Masimpur in Assam, it said.
All the fresh positive cases are returnees from Assam, it added.
Of the total 361 cases in Mizoram, 178 are active cases while 198 patients have recovered.
The State has not reported any COVID-19 death as yet.
