AIZAWL, Oct 11 - With 13 fresh infections detected during the last 24 hours, Mizoram�s tally for novel coronavirus today reached 2,175.
Of the 13 cases, nine were reported from Aizawl district, one each from Serchhip and Lawngtlai districts and two from Kolasib district, an official statement said. It said the new patients included two BSF jawans. Six of the new patients reported from Aizawl district belong to one family at Tuikual North locality here. They were tested after one member showed symptoms.
The rest have travel history and are asymptomatic. A total of 460 samples were tested during the last 24 hours. Mizoram on Saturday reported five fresh cases. Of the total 2,175 cases, 191 are active while 1,984 people have recovered from the disease in Mizoram.
