Mizo delegates leave for Myanmar festival

AIZAWL, Nov 3 � Delegates of ethnic Mizos from Mizoram and Bangladesh today left here to attend the three-day Chhinlung Cultural Festival at Hakha in Myanmar.

The festival, which will begin on Wednesday, is being organised by the Mizo Students Union (MSU) of Mizoram and the people of Hakha town, MSU President Zodinpuia said.

Mizoram Veterinary Minister C Ngunlianchunga and Lalrinliana Sailo, MLA, will also attend the festival, he said.

The festival is expected to be attended by ethnic Mizos from India, Bangladesh and Myanmar.

The theme of the festival is �Countries have boundaries, but not Nations�, he said. � PTI
