GUWAHATI, Oct 27 � In a bizarre incident, the Executive Director (Designate) of Digboi Refinery of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Kaushik Bora was found unharmed and alone inside the Pengeri Reserved Forest, around 15 kilometres away from Digboi town this afternoon.
Police sources said Bora was found sleeping about four kilometres inside the reserved forest around 2.30 pm today. He told the police that no one kidnapped him and he went inside the forest on his own will. other than bite marks of leeches all around his body and face, he was perfectly all right. He was rushed to the hospital and the doctors declared that nothing was wrong with him. Sources said Bora was not keeping well for some time.
It may be mentioned that Bora had left his residence in his own Maruti Alto around 10 am yesterday. When he did not return home till afternoon, a hue and cry was raised and police swung into action immediately. His car was found locked last evening itself, but there was no trace of Bora. It was initially suspected that he was kidnapped.
